Consider the many benefits of spray polyurethane foam for your roofing project:

Weatherproof:
Not only does it stand up to water, SPF performs well against hurricane-force winds. It forms a chemical as well as a mechanical bond with surfaces for added structural strength and rigidity.  SPF eliminates the problem areas where most leaks start by eliminating seams and fasteners. Water does not travel laterally in SPF roofs as it can in built-up roofs (BUR) or single-ply roofs.  Hail and wind driven missile damage typically does not cause leaks and can be repaired later without compromising the long term performance.

Enduring:
The lifespan of a SPF roof is virtually endless. The roof is completely renewable – make minor repairs using caulk and renew the lifespan through re-coating. The foam is easy to replace when stacks or other roof penetrations need to be moved or added.

Sustainable:
  • SPF is very low in the emission of Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs).
  • It is free from chlorofluorocarbons (CFCs) – which have been shown to adversely affect stratospheric ozone.
  • It is the most energy-efficient form of insulation there is.
  • It eliminates the need for costly roof tear-offs and the burden this places on landfills.
  • Excellent insulation efficiency of SPF can reduce heating and cooling usage dramatically and allows equipment to be down-sized
  • SPF helps conserve energy, reducing CO2 emissions
  • SPF contributes LEED credits for sustainable, green construction

Strong and Durable:
Recent Miami-Dade testing has proven that spray foam roofing systems can increase roof deck wind uplift resistance by more than three times. It offers the highest wind uplift rating of any roofing system currently available.
Lightweight:
Foam roofing systems are about 1/3rd of the weight of conventional roofing systems while delivering a strength-to-weight ratio greater than that of prefabricated sheet roofing.   In remedial roofing, we are often removing more ballast and debris weight than we are reinstalling, even without a tear-off

Seamless and Monolithic:
Foam roofing systems are “sprayed-in-place”, therefore, have no joints, seams, or fasteners. There is also no need for counter flashing in most cases.  Additionally, thermal shorts are eliminated as well as the chance for leaks and cracks.
Energy Efficient:
SPF has the best insulating properties available for commercial construction today and is enhanced by reflective coatings. The insulating foam keeps heat from penetrating in the summer or escaping in the winter, permanently lowering heating and air conditioning costs for most owners.  Our foam roof systems reduce thermal expansion, contractions, and help eliminate underside condensation.

You might choose an SPF Roof System if you want:

  • Leak-free monolithic seal over your entire roof deck
  • Self flashing roof system that offers no transitions, joints, cracks, or fasteners that can leak
  • Roof system that also offers a high insulation value to provide significant energy savings
  • Roof system with strong adhesion and wind uplift resistance
  • Roof system that is both lightweight and high strength
  • UL approved
  • FM System available
  • GREEN roofing system that is both sustainable and energy efficient
  • Your next roof to be your last
